TDI: Tree Data Interface

TDI (Tree Data Interface) Information

This page is for Reference information. For a TDI tutorial, see tdi_tutorial.html.
Intrinsics are the built-in functions provided by TDI

To use a new locally-written TDI function (.FUN file) in an MDSPlus node or expression, it is necessary to put the file into the search-list (On VMS, this is defined by the logical name MDS$PATH). This can be the user's login directory or, for generally available code, the directory MDSPLUS$:[PPPL] (on VMS).
