Q: I have a Mac laptop. Is it automatically on Apple Remote Desktop such that I get updates or do I need to do something special?
A: If the helpdesk configured the Mac then it had the ARD installed and activated. Software updates are not pushed to Macs but the user can request a check for updates. Bottom line - Mac management is being developed. The ARD account (which we hide) and remote management needs to be on the systems.
Q: How does this work (for Mac's) while I am on travel or my machine is off?
