NO.____13-2____________ DATE___3/28/97______ ORIGINATOR___C Neumeyer________CHECKER______A Brooks________Rev.___0__ PURPOSE: This calculation establishes the basic geometry and electrical parameters (resistance, inductance, current rating, voltage rating) of the TF coils. In addition it estimates the temperature rise due to rated current and the water cooling parameters. See attached write ups: "TF Coil Spreadsheet Calcs" - this describes the main calculation spreadsheet "G & H functions" - this provides a derivation of the functions used to determine temperature rise in copper "TF Inductance" - this provides a description of the inductance calculations. REFERENCES: Given in attached write ups. ASSUMPTIONS: Given in attached write ups. CALCULATION: Given in attached write ups. Note: all digital documents stored in NSTX File Share, Engineering Folder, Engineering Calculations Folder. Hard copies of all documents stored in NSTX project file. CONCLUSION: Calculations provide central reference for NSTX TF coils. 8\e|1=^kl5@~ CJOJQJ >*OJQJ >*OJQJOJQJ 23[\GH $0 $ $0 $$01>@]^kmn345ACD~ $0 $P/ =!"#$% |HH(EG(HH(d'` [0@0NormalCJOJQJmH <A@<Default Paragraph Font& Charles Neumeyer3Macintosh HD:Desktop Folder:Calc 13-3-0 Cover Sheet@{|p@GTimes New Roman5Symbol3 Arial3Times7 Chicago9New York"mCmC!+!Calc 13-1-0 Cover SheetCharles NeumeyerCharles Neumeyer Oh+'0| 8 D P\dlt'Calc 13-1-0 Cover SheetalcCharles Neumeyer ShharNormal Charles Neumeyer Sh2arMicrosoft Word 8.0h@@U@U ՜.+,0 hp 'PPPL3- Calc 13-1-0 Cover Sheet Title !"#&Root Entry F),(1Table WordDocumentSummaryInformation(DocumentSummaryInformation8CompObjXObjectPool),), FMicrosoft Word DocumentNB6WWord.Document.8Root Entry FzB--@1Table WordDocument7SummaryInformation( +./01234589:;<=>?@AB6DocumentSummaryInformation84CompObjXObjectPool),),0Table !"#$%&'()*+,-./0123456789:;<=>?@ABCD FMicrosoft Word DocumentNB6WWord.Document.8 ՜.+,0 hp 'PPPL3- Calc 13-1-0 Cover Sheet Title Oh+'0| 8 D P\dlt'Calc 13-1-0 Cover SheetalcCharles Neumeyer ShharNormal Charles Neumeyer Sh3arMicrosoft Word 8.0h@^в@U@t$W [0@0NormalCJOJQJmH <A@<Default Paragraph Font& 23UVbcdpr*+,!PS!PS!PS!PS!PS!PS!PS!PS!PS!PS!PS!PS!PS!PS!PS!PS!PS!PS!PS!PS!PS!PS!PS!PS!PS!PS!PS!PS!PS!PS!PS!PS!PS!PS!PS!PS 23UVbcdpr*+,@ UnknownCharles Neumeyerfoobar Rod TemplonppplFrank MalinowskiR.
