  These plots can be made from the web using mptsplots.html.

• For a 2-D plot from the web, in mdssignals.html enter \activespec::tes into the signal field, and, say, 109070 into the shot field, and hit plot to get

  

  Use \activespec::nes to see the density.

• An example of a scope of Maximum Values across radii and over time.

  (NOTE: Because of numerical fitting issues, these representations may be misleading, especially near the edges!)

  enter 109070 in the Shot box at the bottom and get:

  

  mptsallmaxes.scope may also be entered in the Scope Filename field of mdsscope.html

  /p/nstxusr1/util/scopes/mpts_densities.scope displays the density profile at 20 time steps.

• Thomson Scattering profiles may be visually correlated with flux plots from EFIT by using EfitFlux.html. Check the box labeled "Also Plot Thomson Scattering Profiles for Te and Ne."

  

  Animations of this data can be created from IDL -- see efitmovies.pro.

• Animations of MPTS profiles can be created from IDL -- using mptscam.pro. (Note that the corresponding Fast Camera images are currently only on-line for a few shots.)
