Help for MDSmultiSig.html
-
When entries in the "Plot #" fields are the same (limited from
1-9), the signals on those lines will share that plot frame. Plot # 1
is at the top of the output window.
-
When the signal units are the same for signal names on the same plot
frame, just one axis will be labeled. If there are more than one type of
signal units sharing a plot frame, another axis will
be drawn, in color, on the right of the frame.
Case is insensitive for units checking, but Kiloamps
will be treated as different from KA, e.g. If there are more than 2
different types of units, those beyond the first two WILL NOT HAVE AN AXIS
-- they will just be scaled to fit within the plot frame, and drawn in a
different color. Successive plots
on the same frame will have different colors and a legend line.
-
If only one number is entered in the "Shot Number" field, all
signals will use that number. If more than one shot is entered (the number
if shots should equal the number of signals), each signal will use the
corresponding shot number. For tips on convenient shot entry methods, see
ShotEntryHelp.html. When there are different shots being plotted, each
legend line will include the shot number.
-
When entries for signals contain mathematical expressions on more than one
signal, they are automatically converted to the most coarse timebase
using the
SigMath TDI routines.
