- Current: Ip £ 1 MA (for £ 0.5 s, inductively maintained)
- Major radius: R0 ~ 0.85 m (standard operation)
- Cross section: elongation k ~ 2, triangularity d ~ 0.3
- Divertor options: double-null, single-null, “natural” divertor
- Aspect ratio: R0/a ³ 1.25 (a = plasma minor radius)
- Device
- Toroidal field: 0.3 - 0.6 T (for 5 - 1.6 s) at R0
- Wall conditioning: 350oC bakeout, discharge-cleaning, boronize
- Ohmic induction: 0.6 Wb (+ 0.3 Wb from PF coils at 1 MA)
- Helicity injection: 2 kV bias of divertor plate to center stack
- HHFW: £ 2 MW delivered (6 MW full capability)
- ECH preionization: 20 kW for 10 ms
