Create Blob Movies

   (To use this page from outside the pppl.gov domain, you must be authenticated at the firewall)
  Select Data Set:
Blob criteria:

Min Ht::   (Normalized, say, 1.1-3)

Max Chi Squared for ellipse fit:   (arbitray; 0.1-10)
Animation Range*: (times in database)
    Time:   to msec

Rotate:     Flip images horizontally
Range for Average Frame: to msec (if the same, will use range of movie)
Smoothing:
Outline blob locations     Arrows to show blob direction
Normalize images (divide frames by average frame)
Show surface plot on the right
      Z Axis range on the surface plot :
          Normalized Min: (0-1)   Normalized Max: (1.5-10)
Gamma: (.1-3)     Saturation: (.1-2)
Show Separatrix and limiter shadow
Size of Plot Window:   Horizontal: Vertical: (pixels)
          750x300 is good when showing surface plots, else perhaps 300x400
Output Filename: (blank OK)
    Delete any existing Movie with same name (CAUTION! check download area)
Frames per second: (default playback speed).
 
*(movies can take a long time to create and be very large. E.g. 1 msec of CMOD data for 750x300 took 20 minutes and was 49 MB)
    (go to the download page to get your movie).    
                                                                                               
When your movie is completed, a jpeg of the last frame should appear, like:
